3,000 Watt Step-Down A.C., A.C. Transformer JST-3000W

$209.95

JST-3000W 3,000 Watt Step-Down A.C., A.C. Transformer One unit converts 110VAC to 220VAC or 220VAC to 110VAC.

The JST-3000w step up/down voltage transformers offers you a safe, reliable, affordable & convenient solution to converting voltages from 110-120 volts up to 220-240 volts or from 220-240 volts down to 110-120 volts, for both home use & industrial applications.

The JST-3000 is rated for a maximum of 3000 watts . It features a heavy-duty cord with a standard US 3-prong plug and a European Plug attachment. There are a total of three outputs on the front panel: two grounded outputs, one designated for 110 volts with a US standard outlet and the other for 220 volts only with a universal outlet. The last one is a 5V standard USB jack. And most importantly, all three outputs can be used simultaneously & continuously.

For best safety practices, it’s recommended by the manufacturer that the voltage transformer’s maximum power should be equal or greater than the power rating of your appliance multiplied by 1.5. For example, if you have an appliance rated at 100 watts, you will need to pick a transformer with a maximum power of 150 watts or greater.

Specifications:

Features:

  • Step Up/Down transformer converts 220-240 volts down to 110-120 Volts or 110-120 volts up to 220-240 volts.
  • Simultaneous 3-mode Output: 5V (USB) / 120V (Standard US outlet) / 220V (Universal outlet)
  • Four input voltages selectable: 110V/120V/220V/240V
  • All range fuse protection with two spare fuses included.

To Convert 220V to 110V:

1. Make sure the appliance to be plugged in uses fewer watts than the transformer's rating.
2. Insert the voltage tap plug(located on the rear of the transformer) into the pair of holes marked ‘110V ’
3. Plug the transformer 's power cord into a source of 110 volts.
4. 220 volts will be available at the front panel outlet marked ‘220 volts’ when the power switch is turned on.

Attention:

1. The maximum power must not be exceeded by the appliance(s) connected to the transformer.
2. To prevent damage and possible fire hazards, the fuse should be replaced with a slow-blow fuse(MDL) of the same ampere rating as the original if the fuse continues to blow, the transformer and/or the appliance connected to it may need repair.
